Hot off the wire - and courtesy of my former employer Gamasutra - comes news that Grimm creator and Spicy Horse-er American McGee will be returning to the franchise that made him famous with a follow-up to American McGee’s Alice. The announcement came yesterday courtesy of a talk by EA CEO John Riccitellio at the DICE Summit in Las Vegas. Details are sparse at the moment - all we know for certain is that that the title will be published by EA Partners for both PC and consoles. Congratulations to both American and EA Partners for getting this project off the ground, it sounds like a great match for both sides.

Alice didn’t really need a sequel, but im perfectly happy about it getting one.
I don’t really get how they can make a sequel to this. The first game closed up pretty tightly.
I’d rather have Oz or the movie (which, if it goes on its current track, will come out the same year as Tim Burton’s Alice. That’ll be amusing, especially for the kiddies)
