And I was just musing in the forums the other day how I’d like to see the Runaway games come over from the Metaboli catalog. And I’ve always wanted to play Trackmania too. Much <3 for this news.

Still can’t read forums, access PMs, access member profiles, access my account details, etc etc. I submitted a ticket, no repsonse. I called and left a voicemail, no repsonse yet on that either. I’ve cleared the IE cache, I’ve deleted the cookies, I’ve restarted IE, I’ve restarted the PC….nothing has worked. How can I get help is customer service won’t respond and the posted “solutions” did not help?

» LittlestCthulhu said: Apr 2, 2009

Goldenspiral, I’m sorry to hear about htis, CS is under a heavy load at the moment, but we’ve increased the staffing and response times should be improving. I’ll see what I can to get you back up and running.

Thank LilC. This was the only place I can contact a person from GT in any way and get a response currently. If you can, please let RobotGorilla I’d like the Free year from points ASAP since the migration took longer than planned.

Trackmania is great! Nice grab. Can’t wait to see Loki!

» LittlestCthulhu said: Apr 2, 2009

Goldenspiral, give it a shot now.

LilC, I’m am also receiving a “not authorized” message when trying to read the new forums while logged into GameTap. If you get Goldenspiral’s issues fixed maybe you could help me as well.

Thanks.

BTW: Trackmania is an awesome addition.

@Chip, yes. Have you cleared your cache and cookies?

» Chipster22a said: Apr 2, 2009

Yes, I cleared the caches and cookies on both my desktop and laptop and have the same “not authorized” message on both.

Desktop is WinXP
Laptop is Vista32

» Chipster22a said: Apr 2, 2009

Looks like my authorization problems are fixed. Thanks for your help.

Hi, sorry to bug, but the migration continues to be buggy for me. Using IE, the update went through the plugin installation intact, redirected to the dashboard, and then redirected to http://www.gametap.com/migration.html?browser=IE and froze. However, I understand that this is a problem with my IE being version 6.

I switched to Firefox, which is version 3. Upon logging in the Gametap website and clicking on “My Games”, the website redirects me to http://www.gametap.com/migration.html?browser=FF with the text of “Create a folder on my desktop with shortcuts to all my games. Controller mappings - Any controller…”
I clicked the green continue button and the percent bar popped up, stayed at 0%, and then an error code of 4050 popped up. This was the first time. Now, when I go to the page and click on continue, the download bar just stays at 0% and nothing happens.

I would really like to continue using the Gametap service, but am blocked by this update problem. Anyone know how to fix this?

Very cool, guys. Runaway is a great little adventure, and I love me some Trackmania. Always been interested in the Sherlock Holmes games, too :)

any decent racers I’m down with.

» LuigiHann said: Apr 2, 2009

Adventure games, nice! Any chance we’ll be getting Sherlock Holmes game “The Awakened” somewhere down the line? The premise of that one is just so trippy. I also look forward to Runaway; that’s one of those not-quite-classics that I never got around to playing. :)

» Rachel said: Apr 2, 2009

Awesome!! I love Runaway! I’ve never played holmes, but now I want to :>

» MikeNotMechanic said: Apr 3, 2009

Are those casual games like Zuma, Peggle and Magic Ball 3 coming over from the Metaboli catalogue?

» Mfeta16 said: Apr 3, 2009

Does this mean that Track Mania Nations will be in the free pack? :P

» LittlestCthulhu said: Apr 3, 2009

@Mfeta16, no Nations is not part of this license, most likely because the game is already available for free from the publisher.

@Jazelock, Your best bet at this time is to submit your logs and contact customer support.

1- My problems with permissions to access parts of the GT websites have been fixed! Thanks Lil C for your help.
.
2- I haven’t played a Sherlock Holmes game since the game that came with my Sega CD! These look just as fun, or more than the Sega CD versions.

I can’t get my XBOX 360 wireless controller to get recognized by the new Gametap.? It all worked fine when I had the Gametap software running.

» James Cornell said: Apr 4, 2009

Jorgiex: “We’re working on it” they say… expect it to be a few months before GT reintroduces the functionality to arcade/console games.
