Prey

I’m happy to announce that 3D Realms native American FPS Prey is on its way to GameTap. Originally released in 2006 despite a long and trouble development, Prey was well regarded amongst gamers and generally received high review scores. Making use of id Software’s tech 4 engine (Doom 3) Prey employed unique gameplay mechanics such as a portal system, gravity changing, and spirit-walking. You can track Prey’s arrival on the service at our New And Coming Soon Games List.

Any chance of 3DRealm’s DOS back catalog being added?

@ Penquin, This is through our 2K Games deal somehow. I’d love to see some more 3D Realms titles. Maybe big papa Metaboli can make that happen.

That’s right, 3DR just produced Prey. I own the Collector’s Edition, I should know that. *facepalm*
