Restaurant Empire 2 is this week’s new release. Since I’ve never played RE2, let’s take a look at the publisher’s description–

Your mission is to assassinate “The Jackal” by any means necessary, even if it means getting involved with the warring factions he’s supplying.

After numerous false starts, Rainbow Six Vegas is finally here on GameTap. Vegas marked a noticeable change in style for the Rainbow Six series. Relative to previous entries in the franchise, R6 Vegas’s strategy and tactics take a back seat to straight-forward action. I say “relative to” because by and large R6 Vegas is still a far more tactical and cerebral experience than your typical first person shooter, if you go in trying to run-and-gun you’ll most likely run-and-die… quickly. An engaging narrative, solid AI for both enemies and your squad mates, tight controls and interesting locals come together here in R6 Vegas for one of the best shooters now available on GameTap.

If there is one thing in this world I can’t stand it’s judgmental pirates, like the one pictured above. What’s the big deal, pirate? Yea sure I’ve still got matching sets of eyes, hands and legs but I didn’t ask to be born the son of a billionaire toothpaste tycoon. Now’s my chance give that pretentious bastard what for, with this week’s new release Jewel Quest III. Jewel Quest III– or as I like to call it, J-Quest Tres, is a casual game of the match-3 variety and is available today on GameTap. You should totally download it! TOTALLY!

This week’s new release is the Infinity Ward classic Call Of Duty 2. What more is there to be said about this landmark FPS that hasn’t been covered before? Nothing that’s what! Stop delaying the inevitable, soldier and start downloading!

This week’s new release is not Rainbow Six Vegas, but rather 4 Elements. They’re actually very similar though, the only minor difference is instead of employing shadow-op tactics to take down international terrorists, you’ll aide an adorable fairy in the matching of colored block to restore balance to the 4 elements that bind together an ancient kingdom. I’m not positive but I believe both games hail from the same series of novels penned by Tom Clancy. 4 Elements is superior to Rainbow Six Vegas in several other ways,for example it has way more than 6 rainbows, plus it contains the 4 aforementioned elements, oh and did I mention fairies?

All joking aside 4 Elements is very solid casual title, IGN gave it an 8 out of 10 declaring it “…a very, very happy game.”  Obviously we’re still experiencing some technical hang ups with Rainbow Six Vegas, sorry for the delay in its release.

At the behest of our blocky overlords GameTap’s current selection of Lego branded games will be leaving the service on December 17th. But fret not creative brick-builders, Lego videogames have greatly improved over the last few years and loss of these older Lego games could signal a replacement with a fresh-set of new Lego adventures, more details to come later.
