Frontlines: Fuel Of War is coming to GameTap, courtesy of THQ. Frontlines: F.O.W. is a military FPS set in the near future that bears a strong resemblance in gameplay to the Battlefield series. Dammit, I keep thinking Frontlines is one of the PC games with Live Achievements, but it’s not.
Actually, I think this is cool. I hope that there’s still a pretty active online community, other wise we’ll have to host our own game sometime.
Too bad the devs left out mp bots and made the SP portion laughable. They should take a page from Splash Damage’s book (another previous mod team) and add in great bot support in order to extend the life of the gaming community.

Frontlines was a ok game when it came out, sadly it had stiff competition from other titles. I still have my copy for the 360, but would love to have a crack at it with a mouse and keyboard. Thanks Gametap!
This is a great game. It had a rough start, but with patches it is a great game. Don’t believe all you hear. Give it a try your self. You will not be disappointed.
BIG PROBLEMS. Can anybody help???
When trying to install it autoruns the first DVD, but crash when inserting the second, it not only crash the installation, but I have to restart the computer. Very frustrating and not very good marketing for the company who wrote this code. I’m running XP, service pack 3, HP nw9440 if anybody would be so kind to give me a solution on this matter.
There is quite a following for this game, down here in australia, as we have a few servers being run. the game was initiallybuggy at release, however since the 1.3 patch was launched, most problems are now gone,( i personally havent had any).
It also has a large following in europe as well, and constantly find players from there, joining our servers, which makes for some interesting battles on the larger maps.
Can somebody help me with my upstart problem….
When I try to start frontline i get a frame with text: can’t find oleacc.dll file!
I have a Quad 64bit computer with two Nvidia 8800 BFG Video cards and new fast momory 4gb,So I think it should work.Is there any path or something I can use ?

I remember when they first released the demo for this game on Xbox live. And hell even the 1 multiplayer map was addicting so i cant wait to get my hands on it! And I’m sure people will be playing still.. Though I think gametap should start like a” Game of the week” kind of thing where we all join up on a certain multiplayer game to fill up the server and just change it out every week.
