At the behest of our blocky overlords GameTap’s current selection of Lego branded games will be leaving the service on December 17th. But fret not creative brick-builders, Lego videogames have greatly improved over the last few years and loss of these older Lego games could signal a replacement with a fresh-set of new Lego adventures, more details to come later. Hit the jump for the list of games to be removed.

So Drome Racers is staying?
Sorry Horosco, my mistake. Drome Racers and Galidor are both on the list to be removed.
I’m trying to think, who even publishes the Lego games right now? I know Lucasarts did Star Wars and Indy, but I have no idea who published Battles, Rock Band, and Batman (along with Harry Potter coming up)
I probably shouldn’t be disappointed, since I think we have half of these games lying around the house anyway, but still, aww.
somewhere out there in this crazy world a lone Cfive feels a disturbance in the tap and sheds a single tear…
