The team recently put together a new set of commercial spots to show on [adult swim], and I thought readers of this blog might be interested in seeing them.

I think they turned out great, I’m excited to see a message as strong as “Discover the Best Value in Gaming” finally hitting our commercials. If you’ve seen our old [adult swim] spots, you may notice one key difference - we’re not telling you to come play a game for free. Gee, I wonder why

One is embedded below, hit the jump to see two more. If you’d like to see these on TV, tune in to [adult swim] every night and wait patiently, perhaps with a bowl of popcorn and your lover and/or pet by your side. In fact, you should just watch [adult swim] anyway, it has some lovely programs for your amusement.

Those commercials are definitely better than your old ones and do a much better job conveying just what GameTap is.

Pretty cool ads, but I don’t like the music on the first one.

Ahhhh, GameTap.

You’ll always be, “Expand Your Playground,” to me.

What’s the 2nd game in the first ad? (The one labeled “Save the world.”) Thanks for any help.

It’s about time. These are the type of ads that GameTap has needed from the start. Straight to the point with the right message. All three are awesome.

Walter: good question! It looked like Fallout at a glance, but I don’t think it is. I’ll ask the people who put these together on Monday.

Thanks, I’d really appreciate it. (And sorry for the double post above. :)

Any luck figuring it out?

It’s Fallout Tactics.

I like the top one the best. The music makes it seem classy.

Why don’t game tap support def people?

My room mate has a Alien Ware and wanted game tap He does not have a sound card well because he is def!

He downloaded Gametap and installed the program. When he went to run the program it said it will not start with out a sound card. Now why would a def person want a sound card?

So one would have to spend “X” amount of cash for a sound card . Then on top of that Gametap as well and not to mention the 6 thousand+ already into the PC

How is this fair? Why do you need sound for games? This is the only program that will not start without a sound card all the other games he has bought for the past 15 years has worked with out a sound card.

Just pointless if you ask me. Games on demand will start with out a sound card and it is just like game tap. Seems we will have to get that since game tap sucks.
