Well it was a long wait but Age Of Empires 2: Gold is finally available for Premium Pack subscribers. I could go on and on about how great this seminal RTS game is, but that would be time better spent playing it.
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened also makes its debut this week. As Holmes you’ll investigate a rash of disappearances and battle wits with Cthulhu worshiping cultists. I’ve yet to play it but reviews indicate that the blend of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and H.P. Lovecraft makes a potent tincture for good storytelling.

Sherlock Holmes already being so close to gaslight 1920’s Call of Cthulhu, it seems like a natural match. This is good news.

What difference does it make what new games we can play if they don’t work? I am thinking of closing my account. It just isn’t worth my money. Sometimes change isn’t good.
I’m gonna have to agree with Jim, except with the tech issues I’ve been having since the switch, replace “close my account” with “demand a ****ing refund.”
