"It Don't Mean Butt If It Ain't Got That Jut"

Republic: The Revolution is on of this week’s new releases on GameTap. Republic is created by the same studio who produced the Evil Genius, a game that has recently risen to GameTap’s most played game. Republic is a bit more ambitious than Evil Genius and as a result will have a much more narrow appeal. RtR is a political strategy game in which you must use your influence, money, and power to rally the people to a revolt against a tyrannical President. However, you won’t be the only party vying for power and you’ll face stiff competition from others with differing ideologies. If the above is enough to pique your interest Republic could become your new time-sink.

I’ve always been interested in Republic, especially with its Bullfrog connections, but never really tried it out. Good to see it available, and I look forward to trying it out.

Out of curiosity, were there any games back ported to the 64-bit system today? I don’t think I remember seeing Space Hack and Snowy’s Lunch Rush on the 64-bit list before, but I’m not sure. If you could post which 64-bit games are available as part of the new game days, that would be great!

Bob, you nailed it. It was Snowy’s Lunch Rush and Space Hack. Not 2 of our best, but they were already encoded for 64bit.
